beneath Fox Peak the highest point on the giant Two Thumb
Range, off the Christchurch - Queenstown Highway

The access road starts 19 km off
Clayton Rd, Ashwick Flat. Access is usually available to all
vehicles but chains must be carried. The snow phone includes
information about the road conditions. 03 686 0044
The car park overlooks the learner and
intermediate field. Sunny and easily accessed.

From Timaru &
South
● Go to
Fairlie (on
the Queenstown - Christchurch Highway).
●
Take the road to
"Geraldine"
& "Christchurch" at the town monument,
●
Turn left
after 500m
onto "Clayton Road".
●
Stay on
Clayton Road
(about 20km) Ski field entrance (on your left).
From
North
Go to "Geraldine"
on
the Queenstown - Christchurch Highway).
Turn Right to
"Queenstown" & "Mt Cook".
(continue for 20-30 min)
Turn Right at "Mt.
Michael"
& "Farm Barn" cafe. (Continue past "Lake Opua")
Turn
Right at the monument
intersection onto "Clayton Rd".
Follow
Clayton Road
(about 10 min). Ski field entrance is on your left.
